Lantex produces high-quality piled jersey cloth from virgin fleece. Our manufacturing department is provided with advanced equipment, operated by experienced and qualified specialists. They produce jersey cloth, which is later used for the production of warm blankets, pillows, comfortable outer garments and more than 80 other items in demand.

Jersey cloth is produced from the fleece of fine-wool merino sheep. Firm polyester thread is used as the basis of the cloth. During the manufacturing process the fleece passes several stages and turns into the modern material at the end.

First stage. Fleece is cleaned from vegetable and mineral impurities. Then the fibers are loosened and mixed by means at scutching and picking machines. At that, the fibers are treated with special emulsion that decreases the static stress of the fleece. The mixture is held at certain humidity and temperature.

Stage two. After the fleece is processed at carding machine, the card sliver is produced. The card sliver is then processed at circular fabric machine. The fleece is bound with the woven basis to produce raw piled jersey cloth.

Pile fabric is then processed with wool clipper, and the wool is clipped. Afterwards the fabric is received by the tumbler and artificially aged to achieve virgin fleece look.

On the next stage the fibers are fastened to the woven basis. The fibers are stabilized with the special solution, and then the cloth is dried at high temperatures.

After that, the quality cloth is checked and coiled by the measuring and objectionable machine.
